Last month was choco as always with a couple of commercial shoots for Jora collections (www.joracollections.com) where we managed to shoot about 80 dresses in 2 shoots which was a great effort by all involved...

In terms of High Fashion shoots I had a great (fun) shoot based on a Spaceage theme
The ideas from the shoot were based on some of the themes from the recent SS09 catwalk shows, 'Spaceage' being one of them. Hair was based on the hair of Lily Munster but the negative version with a black stripe on white/blonde hair, makeup inspired by Pris from Bladerunner and stereotypical (dark) alien eyes.
The clothes were fantastic, plenty of texture and shape which I love, love, love, the outfits looked gorgeous under the soft lighting, so much shadow and contrast. The full shoot can be viewed here Thanks to everyone involved, perfect job...

So next month...
The prefall 09 collections have just come out, all stunning and beautiful as always, but the collections that stand out for me are Burberry Prorsum, Missoni, Versace and Chanel
The Chanel collection is so inspiring and my next shoot will probably be based on some of the ideas from the collection; a royalty theme, Elizabeth I in particular springs to mind but there's so much more depth and I intend to push the pearly noggin to the fullest -naturally! Hopefully the photos should be online end of Jan, please sign up for regular updates in the 'Contacts' section of this site and I'll let you know when they're available... A few commercial shoots as well which is always great too, but high fashion is always my heart and soul
